Hier befand sich im späten 16. Jahrhundert der Ebersteiner Herrenhof, Amtssitz der herrschaftlichen Verwaltung und Wohnung des jeweiligen Amtmannes.
1752 nach einem Brand als Badisches Amtshaus wieder aufgebaut.
1957 abgebrochen und an seiner Stelle ein Wohn- und Geschäftshaus errichtet.
Verblieben ist ein Teil des gotischen Sandsteingeländers aus der Gartenanlage. Es befindet sich heute im „Katz’schen Garten“ in der Bleichstraße.
At this place was in the late 16th century the manor house of the Counts of Eberstein, the official residence of the manorial administration and housing of the respective bailiff.
After a fire it was rebuilt in 1752 as an official building by the State of Baden.
After demolition in 1957, a residential and commercial building was erected at this point.
There remained part of the gothic sandstone railings, formerly part of the garden of the original manor and today installed in the garden of the Katz family in the Bleichstraße.
A la fin du 16è siècle se trouvait ici le manoir des comtes d‘Eberstein. Ce manoir était le siège officiel de l’administration seigneuriale et la résidence de l‘administrateur.
Reconstruction en 1752 après une incendie en tant que résidence officielle du Pays de Bade.
Après la démolition en 1957, un bâtiment résidentiel et commercial a été érigé à cet endroit.
Le manoir, exceptée une partie de la balustrade gothique en grès se trouvant dans l‘ancien jardin, a complètement disparu. Plus tard, cette partie de la balustrade gothique a été installée dans le jardin de la famille Katz (que nous retrouverons plus loin!) dans la Bleichstraße, où elle se trouve encore aujourd‘hui.
