Hofstätte mit Brunnen

Zentraler Platz am Murgübergang zwischen den ursprünglichen Siedlungskernen Kirch- und Marktdorf und den mittelalterlichen Vorstädten „Gaß“ und „Waldbach“.

Der 1511 errichtete Brunnen erinnert an die gemeinsame Herrschaft seit 1387 der Grafen von Eberstein und der Markgrafen von Baden über die Stadt.

Der Brunnenstock mit Gernsbacher Wappen und Ebersteiner Rose erhielt nach 1851 eine neugotische zweifache Kreuzblume zum Andenken an Großherzog Leopold (+ 1851) und zu Ehren des Prinzregenten Ludwig von Baden.

Place with Fountain called „Hofstätte“

Central place near ford through the Murg river and situated between the two original settlement centers „Kirchdorf“ (village around the church) and „Marktdorf“ (village around the market) and the two medieval suburbs „Gaß“ and „Waldbach“.

The Fountain built in 1511 reminds the fact that from 1387 on the Counts of Eberstein and the Margraves of Baden practised the rule of the town jointly.

The centerpiece of the fountain showing the emblem of Gernsbach (double hook) and the Rose of Eberstein was decorated after 1851 with a neo gothic finial to remind Grand Duke Leopold (+1851) and to honor the Prince Regent Ludwig von Baden.

La place appelée „Hofstätte“ avec fontaine

Place centrale près de l’ancien gué à travers la Murg; est située entre les anciens centres de la ville (le village autour de l’église et le village autour du marché) et les deux bourgs médiévaux „Gaß“ et „Waldbach“.

La fontaine construite en 1511 rappelle le fait que, depuis 1387 la ville était régie par deux pouvoirs: les comtes d‘Eberstein et les margraves de Bade.

La partie centrale de la fontaine portant les armes de Gernsbach (le double crochet) et la Rose des comtes d’Eberstein, a été ornée après 1851, d’un double fleuron néo-gothique, en commémoration du Grand Duc Leopold (+ 1851) et du prince régent Ludwig de Bade.

Plaza central en el cruce del río Murg entre los núcleos de asentamiento originales de Kirchdorf y Marktdorf y los suburbios medievales de "Gaß" y "Waldbach".

La fuente, erigida en 1511, conmemora el gobierno conjunto de los condes de Eberstein y los margraves de Baden sobre la ciudad desde 1387.

Después de 1851, la fuente, que luce el escudo de armas de los Gernsbach y la rosa de Eberstein, recibió un doble remate neogótico en memoria del Gran Duque Leopoldo (+ 1851) y en honor al Príncipe Regente Luis de Baden.

Fattoria con fontana

Piazza centrale all'incrocio del fiume Murg, tra i centri abitati originari di Kirchdorf e Marktdorf e i sobborghi medievali di "Gaß" e "Waldbach".

La fontana, eretta nel 1511, commemora il dominio congiunto dei Conti di Eberstein e dei Margravi di Baden sulla città dal 1387.

Dopo il 1851, la fontana, che reca lo stemma di Gernsbach e la rosa di Eberstein, ricevette un doppio pinnacolo neogotico in memoria del Granduca Leopoldo (+ 1851) e in onore del Principe Reggente Ludovico di Baden.
